This 1969 Chevelle was purchased at a Mecum auction as an SS tribute. Since acquiring this car we have swapped the suspension, brakes, seats, steering column and added a console. The car comes with what I feel like is a high nose up stance from the factory that looks odd with a big block sitting under the hood. The stance has been lowered using tubular A-arms, coilovers and a drop spindle in the front with new tubular 4-link and coilovers in the rear. The stock bench seat was replaced with nice leather SS buckets and a new console from OPGI. The car was dyna-matted when the interior was removed. There were a number of other SS correct mods that were made including replacing the front marker lights lenses with orange lenses and matte black finishing the rear valance. New correct chrome tips were installed as well. There are still a few things that need to be corrected like the front outside grill pieces need to be blacked out. In the spring of 2018 there will be a 2004r overdrive transmission swap and the vacuum pump and tank will be removed and replaced with a hydro-boost system.
